within the framework of consulting mandates with manufacturing
companies over a period of about 15 years to address, in
one form or another, the problems caused by sub-optimum
manufacturing strategy. Often these mandates revolved
around the implementation of MRPII and ERP systems, or
the implementation or upgrade of the Kanban technique.
The concepts were thus proven in the context of real-world
situations before being developed in Lance-Lot's
current form.
